As a broadcast engineer my duties include installing and maintaining all new and existing equipment. Provide in-person and remote technical support to all employees at the local station. Previously maintained the local domain servers and added and removed employees in the AD. Integrated servers into the domain for file-sharing and data backup and setup a remote server for off-site data duplication. Maintained the network IT infrastructure, planned and added new switches and patch panels.
Responsible for all aspect of live news production such as studio cameras, video/photo editing systems, production switching and running the audio board. I was instrumental in the transition to the Overdrive automation system and built most of the programming and templates that are still in use today.
